Dubai is labeled as the "Shopping Capital of the Middle East". With so many shopping malls and souqs, there's no better place to find products at unbeatable prices. It is truly a duty free shopper's paradise. Dubai's numerous shopping malls cater to every consumer need, clothing both prêt a porter and haute couture, jewellery, electronics, furnishing, gift items and souvenirs, sporting equipments, and any other goods will likely all be under the same roof. Luckily this year, our congress is taking place during the famous Dubai Shopping Festival. All shopping malls are open all days of the week from 10:00 to 22:00, except on Fridays where some shops open after the Friday Prayer (14:00 onwards)
SHOPPING MALLS
Actual retail space about 3.8m sq ft, and internal area about 5.9m sq ft including posh restaurants, an Olympic ice-skating rink, and the largest goldfish bowl you've ever seen. The Dubai Mall is opened daily from 10:00 am to midnight.

It also has 65 restaurants and coffee shops with everything from fast food to themed restaurants and exclusive dining alternatives. This is one of the largest malls outside North America and one of the biggest malls in Dubai.

Lamcy Plaza
Daiso is Japan’s leading discount store. In 2004 the company opened its first store in Dubai at the Lamcy Plaza. The 10,000 square foot store on the third floor of the mall offers tens of thousands of products, most of which cost just a handful of dirhams. A diverse product range includes toys, gifts, stationery, cosmetics, pet care products, seasonal products, ornaments, and much more.
Matalan is another department store offering reasonably priced goods. In 2010 the UK based retailer opened their second Dubai store here (the first was at the Arabian Center mall). Occupying around half of the second floor it offers ladies and men’s fashion, children’s clothes, lingerie, footwear, and accessories.
